Happy New Year to all.  A new year will be upon us soon, a new year to commit to those things which are important in our lives, a new year to love more, share more, do more.

A NEW YEAR TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN.  A NEW YEAR TO STAND UP FOR THE ABUSED, A NEW YEAR TO BECOME A VOICE ON THEIR BEHALF.

It is a new year to stand together, to fight, to make people aware and to make people listen.

SINCE  "ONE ABUSED CHILD IS ONE TOO MANY",  then we must do all we could together to stop another child from being abused.

My prayer for this New Year is........to become stronger as a group in this campaign and to do all we could.

I am a little concerned why there are not more of us writting into this blog.  I don't understand why more people are not participating and showing their concern for this campaign.  As each day goes by, there is another child that is being abused in some way.  There was an article on the news the other day, (I don't remember what state it was in), but anyways, there was a truck driver driving down a highway----A HIGHWAY.  on his way to work when he spotted a little 3 year old boy walking along the shoulder.  He couldn't believe what he was seeing, so him and another motorist stopped to grab the little boy.  They called the police and found out that the little boy lived in an apartment complex about 50 feet from the highway.  It was early morning and all this little boy had on was a superman t-shirt and a little pair of shorts----it was cold outside.

The police went to the house and found another child, a little girl around 2 years old living in disgusting filth.  The child was soiled with urine and fecies and the house was filled with the same with garbage thrown all over.  As the police arrested the mother and walked her to the police car, she had a look like she couldn't care less about her children because the drugs were more important to her.  SAD, SO VERY SAD.

It's things like this that we must stand up and fight against, it's children like this that need our voice, it's children like this that need us to show them that they are cared about.

So please help Darrell with this campaign.  Please don't feel that there's nothing you can do because just showing your support for these children is more than enough.

Hi everyone,  Hope all is well.

I was watching the Nancy Grace show last night on CNN.  It was all about abused children, abducted children, and about the little 13 year old boy that was abducted from Missori on Monday after he got off his school bus.

I went onto her web site this morning and was able to contact a site called

DARKNESS TO LIGHT

I wrote to them asking information on how to start a volunteer group in my community that speaks to various groups on the prevention of sexual abuse.  I can't wait to hear from them.

I'm also trying to contact organizations in my community that deal with these cases and asking them if they have any such programs.

I ask that you all please go to this site for more info.  Maybe this can be a place that will help us get started with our campaign.  There is alot of good information on there.

Hi everyone,

Boy, you hear something new every day and this is the type of thing we must fight against.

A 29 year old man in Phoenix AZ tried to pass for a 12 year old boy and tried to enroll in a school out there.  Thank God the school aurthourities were suspicious and called the police.

They went to his home where they found three other men along with this man who were in prison together serving a sentence for sexual abuse, which by the way , they never registered as sex offenders when they got out.

The police feel that they had planned this to lure children to their home.  SAD, SAD, SAD, but things like this is what is happening every day.

Let's come together for the sake of the children.
